Tibet Everest base camp Tour

This is one of the fabulous tours that provide you an opportunity to explore cultural, historic and natural attractions of Tibet. This tour begins from Kathmandu. After one day sightseeing in Kathmandu, you depart to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. Here for few days you will do sightseeing to major tourist spots around Lhasa. Afterwards drive overland in four wheel jeep crossing the Tibetan highlands and high passes and arrive Mt. Everest Base Camp from where you can get the view of great north face of Mt. Everest and other Himalayas. Then continue drive to Tibet Nepal Boarder. After crossing friendship border you back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 01:
Arrival in Kathmandu international airport. Transfer to the hotel. Orientation of the tour program.

Day 02:
Sightseeing tour to UNESCO’s world heritage sites: Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 03: Transfer to the Kathmandu international airport for Tibet departure.  After arrival in Gongar Airport, Lhasa, transfer to the hotel.

Day 04: Sightseeing tour of Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulinka Summer Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar.

Day 05: Sightseeing tour inside the Potala Palace.

Day 06: Drive to Xigatse via Shalu Monastery. Visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery.

Day 07: Drive to Tingri (Shegar).

Day 08:
Drive to Rongbuk.

Day 09:
Excursion to Mt,everest base camp.
Overnight at  Gompa Guest House in Rongbuk

Day 10:
Drive to Tingri(Shegar).
Overnight at hotel

Day 11:
Drive to Nayalam.
Overnight at hotel

 Day 12:
Drive to Zhangmu. After out from friendship border, drive back to Kathmandu.

Day13:
Transfer to Kathmandu International airport to connect flight for onward journey.
